Chase March is excited to be working with the Boys and Girls Club of London, Ontario once again for another edition of Rap Camp.
In this program, students will learn how to rap from a local professional Hip Hop Artist and Music Teacher. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to break down a rap, become more confident with their rap identity, learn breathing techniques, beat selection, and write & record their very own song and music video. Students may be featured on the Digital Creative Arts Centre website. This program will take place in the DCAC which has a state-of-the-art recording facility, classroom, and performance space for youth to learn and have fun.
The camp runs from Tuesday August 8th to Friday August 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
It’s pretty exciting that the program ends on the 50th Birthday of Hip-Hop culture. People all over the world will be celebrating Hip Hop that day. We will do it with the release of some original music that we create throughout the week and by releasing a music video.
