I am ready for the first day of school next week.

Here are a few things that I do to get my classroom set up and organized.

Work baskets

I label these small bins with the days of the week. The first week of school starts on Tuesday next week, so everything is in order and nicely organized. This system allows students to work ahead for early submissions.

Expectations anchor chart

This is something that will be co-created with my students. It helps foster ownership and accountability. Respectfully referenced throughout year.

Academic and Virtue awards

I love being able to celebrate and display our achievements as a class.
