In Hip Hop, MC or “Emcee” is the traditional term for rapper. It can mean, Master of Ceremonies, Move the Crowd and much more. The title, “IAMSee”, uses wordplay to stress the difference between Emcee vs rapper. The song is a call for artists to reflect on whether or not they “AMSee/MC” when they use the craft of Rap.
